WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy practice that supports the body's own capacity to settle, restore, and heal. A practitioner works with your energy field to encourage a state of deep relaxation, the kind that allows your body's natural processes to do what they already know how to do.

Distance Reiki works the same way, without the need to be in the same room. Energy isn't bound by physical proximity, so a session held remotely is held with the same intention and care as one held in person.

WHAT A SESSION INVOLVES

Sessions run 30-45 minutes and take place on Fridays. Before your first session, you'll complete a short intake questionnaire, so I know what you're hoping to focus on. At your scheduled time, simply find a quiet spot where you can sit or lie down undisturbed; there's nothing else required of you. Afterward, you'll receive a written debrief reflecting on the session and inviting you to notice what shifts in the days that follow.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. Simply be in a quiet, comfortable space at the scheduled time. You don't need to meditate, focus, or prepare anything beyond that.

Do I need to do anything during the session?

Yes. Energy work isn't limited by physical distance, the practice and its effects are the same either way.

Is distance Reiki as effective as in-person Reiki?

No. Reiki is a wellness practice offered separately from any services I provide as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and it is not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Is this a substitute for therapy or medical care?

What if I'm skeptical or new to energy work?

That's completely welcome. No prior experience or belief system is required to receive a session.

What's included in the bundle?

A single session is $150. The two-session bundle is $250, a savings of $50, and includes a written debrief after each session.
